Reservoir Engineer-Development

Reservoir Engineer is urgently needed to fill a position inHouston,TXwith publically traded Oil and Gas Company. Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible. Responsibilities: * Work with geoscientists and operations team to create field development program * Consolidate data and information and construct appropriate reservoir models to assist in assessing well performance * Coordinate with technical staff to integrate and apply new understanding to the development program * Work with team to maximize value associated with completions strategies * Assist in optimizing well spacing and horizontal lengths to maximize recoveries and determine pad selection to minimize surface disturbance and meet environmental constraints * Work in multi-disciplined asset management team * Develop test and surveillance program to adequately evaluate upside potential * Assist with and/or coordinate budget, long-range planning and reserves activities * Coordinate the AFE process and prepare economic analysis * Obtain relevant data, carrying out analysis on site and recommending immediate actions as necessary * Monitor area production reports as necessary Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or expected equivalent education and previous reservoir experience * Experience is Well Optimization is most critical for this role * Minimum of 5+ years progressive oil and gas development/reservoir experience required, with 8 - 10 years reservoir experience in the corresponding Rockies orMidContinentBasinswhere the position will be assigned is strongly preferred * Proven knowledge in reservoir development planning/economic concepts and budget management methodologies * Must have strong proficiency in Aries and Microsoft Office Candidate Profile: Only candidates who are legally permitted to work inUSAwill be considered Relocation will be provided for the successful candidates if required
