Reservoir Engineer

I am currently working with an independent, highly regarded well engineering and subsurface consultancy in Aberdeen, who are looking for expand their subsurface team by recruiting for experienced and highly motivated Reservoir Engineers.

Requirements

With a degree or MSc ideally in Petroleum Engineering, you will have several years' relevant experience in Reservoir Engineering, with a proven track record that demonstrates delivery. You should be a good communicator and work well within a small team, but able to work independently when required. Supervisory skills and experience are essential.

Core Skills:

Written English (report writing)

Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint etc.

Project management

Presentation techniques

Reservoir simulation using Eclipse software

Material balance

Decline curve analysis

PVT and SCAL data analysis

Reservoir analysis including PTA

Reserves estimation

Beneficial skills:

Reserves auditing

Nodal Analysis (Well Performance)

Production Optimisation (Integrated Asset Management)

Decision / Risk Analysis

Experience should include:

Field Development Planning

Work with a Major Operator and/or Service Company
