Reservoir Engineer

Reservoir Engineer is urgently needed to fill a position inDenver,COwith a leading independent energy company.

Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.

The candidate should have experience in the following to be considered for the role:

* Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of five years experience in reservoir engineering
* Proficient in both deterministic and probabilistic reserve calculations
* Working knowledge of geological concepts, geophysics, and mapping techniques
* Understanding of production operations, reserve estimations, and reservoir drive mechanisms
* Proficient with ARIES economics and database
* Ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions under time restrictions and manage projects

A description of the job is below:

* Provides estimates of company reserves and schedules of future expenses for exploration and exploitation projects
* Conducts economic evaluations on both a risked and unrisked basis for prospects, acquisitions and dispositions
* Provides log interpretation for new wells in assigned area
* Maintains sales forecasts and books reserves for producing fields within business unit
* Generates reserve data sheets for new reserve additions
* Build development plans and maintain and incorporate modeling and field test results
* Responsible for maintaining required safety training and compliance
