A qualified GI Actuary is required to strengthen an actuarial team and develop the capital modelling and reserving capabilities.
Imperatives:
- Qualified actuary with ideally relevant years post qualification experience.
- A good track record of working within General Insurance.
- Sound knowledge of the insurance industry and the ability to apply that knowledge in commercial situations
- Experience of pricing, claims reserving, capital management and Solvency II
- Adaptable, with a keen interest in developing your technical and commercial capabilities
- Aptitude for creatively applying problem solving skills in a wide range of situations
- Capability to maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Highly motivated with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
