Description:

Temporary social research expertise to collate and synthesise consumer evidence on the price and non-price factors that incentivise different players in the system to act in a 'smart' way.
This research will feed directly into the Smart Energy team's options appraisal for increasing levels of active demand-side participation in the electricity system. eg How does the network charging regime need to change in order to incentivise greater levels of demand flexibility?
The support is needed now as the Smart Energy Team are developing the business case and options appraisal in the run up to a call for evidence in the Spring.
This evidence base will feed into each of these products.
