This role is part of the wide research team responsible for client, market and brand research.

The role holder will be responsible for managing a range of research initiatives at any one time to provide insight to the business, to inform strategic direction informing action ultimately for the benefit of the client.

The role holder will be responsible for selecting an appropriate form of research (methodological
/technical) for regular or continuous research or ad hoc requests, making use of both primary and secondary research to satisfy requirements.

Core accountabilities

The role holder will be accountable for:
Engagement with the business (the internal client) and development of a tight brief, engagement with the agency, sourcing of data sample, application of stringent governance processes and procedures given the sensitive nature of our clients and importance of creating an excellent experience for the client.

In addition, analysis of results and cascade of these within the business, adding value through the understanding of business context and results of associated research conducted in other areas.

The role holder will manage the budgets associated with the specific initiatives whether this is Research budget or business budget.

Importantly, the role holder will consider at all times the banks objectives and those of the broader Global Client Experience community to ensure that we optimise the efforts of the teams in aligning our efforts and 'winning together'.

The role holder will be expected to:
- Review each initiative on completion (undertaking a 'post implementation review'), taking feedback from the internal client and considering how it could be improved upon for the benefit of the research team and the business.

Role requirements:
- The successful candidate will have a track record of appropriate research experience and qualifications.
- They will demonstrate awareness and evidence of employing appropriate frameworks within which to conduct high quality research, importantly within a comparable market sector; HNW Wealth Management.
- The candidate will have extensive experience of both quantitative and qualitative research.

Ideally the candidate will have firsthand experience of 'automated' quantitative survey tools, brand research and client satisfaction to name but a few examples.

The successful candidate will be:
- Flexible in their approach given the geographic location of internal clients across America, Asia, Europe and the UK.
- They will have attention to detail and create output of the highest quality at all times.
- Be rigorous in their approach, taking responsibility at each step of process in the context of internal risk policies.
- The ideal candidate will understand the importance of presenting added value to the business, not just 'stats' and the importance of action ability as a measure of 'ROI'.

The successful candidate must have excellent team behaviours as well as ability to be self directed and understand the importance of working to forge relationships across teams as well as within.
