Research Fellow

The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is currently seeking a Post-doctoral Research Fellow to investigate mesenchymal progenitors and fibrotic remodeling in adult lungs. This is a translational laboratory with focus on lung repair and fibrogenesis. The laboratory has unique access to human tissue and murine models of repair such as lung transplantation and bleomycin lung injury are functional . Current research projects include investigation of role of resident mesenchymal progenitors in adult lungs utilizing FOXF1-BAC-tdTomato and investigation of fibrotic pathways with focus on studying NFAT signaling, beta-catenin signaling, and mTOR signaling. Research experience in transgenic mice, developmental biology, stem cell biology, or any of these specific signaling pathways is preferred.
