RESEARCH ASSOCIATE I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA

What You'll Be Doing:
- Primary focus will be on cell culture maintenance and cell-based virus titration assays.
- The Seattle Cellular Resources department is seeking an Associate to join our Biosafety Development group.
- General cellular and molecular technical skills are required including cell culture, in vitro viral detection assays, and PCR.
- Previous training in a cGxP laboratory environment, method qualification and/or validation preferred.
- Successful candidates will have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and should display excellent organizational and communication skills.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS/MS degree in biochemistry, cell biology or related field with a minimum of one to three (1-3) years of practical laboratory experience is required.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to understand, apply, and evaluate cell biology, virology, and mathematical principles.
- Knowledge of secondary tissue culture (cell culture), and molecular techniques is preferred.
- Successful candidates will possess strong technical writing and presentation skills, knowledge of GxPs and safety guidelines.
- Candidate should be detail oriented and able to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
