Our EDINBURGH based client has an urgent requirement for an experienced RESEARCH ASSISTANT for an initial 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Carry out research tasks as required, including online searches of legal databases, Internet searches, developing and analysing spreadsheets of information and supporting routine collection and analysis of material
- Prepare material for publication by assisting in the review and redaction of documents
- Carry out other ad hoc tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience undertaking research and analysis of documents.
- Strong background searching and investigating various channels of information
- Experience of working within a legal setting.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems.
