RESEARCH ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Bioinformatics
- HPLC
- Mass spectrometry

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The successful candidate will combine biochemical techniques such as enzymatic digestion and peptide and protein separations with mass spectrometry and bioinformatics tools in a capacity and in collaborative projects.
- The successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of lipid profiling and chromatographic separation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Bioinformatics
- Strong informatic skills and be proficient in a variety of mass spectrometry based methodologies including targeted analysis, proteolytic digestion, quantitative approaches and proteomic data analysis.
- Candidate must be knowledgeable with HPLC and MS instrumentation and have strong troubleshooting capabilities, good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a team environment and willing and eager to learn new technologies
