Requirements Manager

We are currently looking to hire a Requirements Manager on a contract basis as part of our continued growth. The role will be working onsite with one of our large automotive customers and will be working on their PLM Programme. This is an enterprise wide Enovia PLM suite deployment to replace a range of Legacy systems.

The Role

The role requires leading a small, established Requirements Management and Design Verification (RMDV) team supporting and developing a unified approach to requirements management, including gathering, verification and validation of requirements, change management and reporting of requirements. The role also requires leading a small team supporting and developing solutions in the areas of Materials Compliance and Fleet Management Systems.

In addition to day to day management of the established solution support teams, the role involves;

* Working closely with established business relationship managers & external vendors to develop toolset strategies which best meet business needs
* Supporting team based Project Managers to deliver system developments in a timely manner, to agreed quality standards and established budgets.
* Identification of staff recruitment requirements in order to ensure the highest levels of solution support for business customers.
* Ensuring the development and documentation of new "best-practice" methodologies and workflows are delivered in a timely, logical and clear manner through appropriate communication.
* Interface with other areas of i-PLM and the business (eg IT, Manufacturing, Engineering etc) and external partners (eg software vendors).

The Person

The successful candidate should ideally possess the following skills/qualifications:

Technical:
* Knowledge of RMDV concepts, principles and best practices
* Experience of one or more RMDV tools eg DOORS, Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Manager or ENOVIA Requirements Central
* RMDV processes expertise
* Reporting techniques
* Systems Engineering concepts and principles
* Experience of delivering projects in a recognized project management framework

Analytical:
* Analytical and conceptual expertise
* Planning, documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques
* Testing, verification and validation techniques
* Requirement gathering and analysis techniques

Other Skills & Information:
* Team leadership & team development experience
* Knowledge of JLR business processes
* Knowledge of IT project methodologies
