Requirements Engineer/Technical BA

On behalf of my Private Banking client, I am assisting in the search for a Technical Business Analyst to analyse and implement new functionality for Client Tax Reporting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in an engineering/technical background with business and IT skills:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyse business requirements, using workshops, interviews, discussions etc.
- Document requirements, using features list, diagrams, business rules, prototypes etc.
- Create solution proposals and estimations together with the software engineers
- Manage changes to requirements and ensure traceability
- Perform pre-testing to ensure application stability and maturity for integration testing
- Analyse defects from testing cycles and track bug fixing
- Support production issues with problem analysis and professional incident communication
- Understand the technical setup of the applications
- Analyse business problems in the Data Base with SQL queries

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in business analysis and IT requirements engineering with good knowledge of processes and documentations
- Solid understanding of UML, XML, Web-Services, Datamodelling, SQL, MQ/JMS
- Experience in Web UI/Java applications development projects (as an engineer or analyst)
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
