Requirements Engineer in Client Tax Area (3320)

For project at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for an experienced

REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER IN CLIENT TAX AREA (3320)

ROLE OVERVIEW:

- Achieves clear understanding of Business goals/needs within context of Business processes
- Elicits, analyzes, develops and validates Business requirements in the Consumer Lending Domain
- Challenges Business requirements during elicitation
- Translates Business requirements into standardized IT specifications
- Ensures common understanding between Business and IT (bridge)
- Acts as consultant and subject matter expert for Business requests/pre-analysis/feasibility studies/scoping
- Defines & delivers approach, task planning and effort estimates for RE work
- Specifies feasible requirements, reviewed/signed-off by Business & project stakeholders
- Manages changes to requirements and ensures traceability between Business requests and RE and TE artifacts
- Reviews high-level design and test cases to ensure allignment to Business requirements
- Ensures standard RE process is followed and/or tailored, as required
- Translates requirements into models and specifications to reflect and confirm understanding of the requirements
- Supports selection of resources for RE work
- Supports SA/development/test roles during relevant project phases
- Supports requirements alignment to release plans, Business processes and the overall context around application and technical architecture

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or Business Informatics
- At least 3 years of work experience as Business Analyst
- Strong analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, decision making)
- Strong communication skills (writtenevidence of fundamental consulting and communication skills (listening, writing, presentation, abstraction, and negotiation)
- Ability to work with different stakeholders/project roles (establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area, with clients and teammates; respects conflicting points of views; influences key individuals inside and outside own group)
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and follow through to resolution
- Working experience in BE methodology (according to BABOK)
- General IT (eg IT architecture concepts, IT processes) and Banking knowhow
