Requirement Engineer

For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Requirement Engineer:

START: ASAP Duration: 6 months

Location: Bern - Gümligen

PREFERRED SKILLS:

-Strong skills in the analysis and specification of Business Rule-, Screen- and Interface Requirements
- Strong communication skills for peer- (Requirement Engineers, Solution Architect, Test Engineer) and Business communication (Business Application Owner, Business Analysts, Business User)
- Strong logical thinking skills
- Good ability for self organization and independent working
- Knowledge about workflow steered/supported processes
- Basic knowledge about the banking business
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Requirement engineers, Project leads, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- Strong ability to work both independently and integrated in a project team

Good time-management

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

-Experienced with the usage of JIRA, Polarion, Quality Center
- Experienced with the usage of Visio
- Experienced with Agile (SCRUM)
- Experience in application development projects following incremental and iterative approaches (RUP, Agile)
- Experience in Credits domain, Risk Management
- Motivation to contribute software improvements in an interesting environment experience in banking or finance industry
- Experience with workflow, particularly with workflow automation/straight-through-processing

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 5 or more years' experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
