Request for Service Catalogue Analyst

Request for Service Catalogue Analyst needed for a 12 month contract based in London.

DESIRED & REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must be knowledgeable in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations, experience in the implementation and integration of Service Catalogue and Request Fulfilment processes.

Required skills:

- Understand and work effectively in an IT Service Management environment
- Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Other desired skills:

- Experience with IT Service Catalogue tools, like Kinetic Data or other similar capability
- Leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issues
- Knowledge of government program life cycles, processes and procedures
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers and senior program management

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION

Review and stream line the local process and identify and remove bottle necks.

Review analysed request for service performance data and looking for trends and patterns and identify underlying causes and if appropriate implement blanket processes to improve processing time and costs.

Support the suppliers in dealing with high volume requests in innovative ways and explore extension of standard call of services if appropriate.

Explore innovative connation channels and technologies to speed up the processing and reduce the cost of dealing with requests for services.

Support the measurement and review ways to minimise the business time, resources and costs associated with the process.

Working with Service Delivery, identify and agree local improvement packages and monitor their implementation and benefits realised.

Regularly review adherence to guidelines and budgetary authorisation levels and processes.

Contribute and work on improving current guidelines.
