My UK based client is looking for an Experienced Hyperion Developer/Technical Consultant (Role details below)

Reporting and BI Analyst

Location - Bournemouth
Start - Aug 2015
Duration - 6 months initial

THE ROLE:
To administer and maintain the Oracle Essbase multidimensional database management accounts system and the IBM Clarity 7 Planning and Forecasting system for the Finance Department, as well as providing support for the IBM Cognos FSR/CDM reporting systems, under the supervision of the Financial Systems Accountant.

You will need to;
*Oracle Essbase administration experience, including:
*Accounting data cube design (both block and aggregate storage databases)
*Accounting and Reporting cube maintenance/tuning
*Essbase Scripting
*Linking cubes via Partitioning
*Understanding of double entry bookkeeping
*Good level of accounting knowledge, specifically around MI/planning (ideally Qualified but Part Qualified Accountant would be a minimum requirement).
*Relational database experience (Some experience of Oracle Financials R12 or 11i, would be desirable).
*Experience of designing standard accounting reports in areas such as cost centre expenses, P&L, Balance Sheet.
*Flexible approach to working hours
*Highly PC literate with advanced MS Excel, VBA and Access skills
*Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
