Reporting Analyst - Start ASAP - Leading IT Co. Needs you

Worldwide leader in technology seeks an experienced Reporting Analyst to join there growing team. Initially a 6+ month contract with upto 3 years worth of work within this global team based in ST LEONARDS

You will be responsible for creating, modifying and de-bugging Cognos reports built in Report Studio 8.4 to support the Operations and Business Office teams.

Typically, account teams or other stakeholders will put forward requests to change, enhance, create or de-bug a specific report, the author analyses the requirements, comes up with an estimate of effort necessary (in hours) and initiates a cycle of develop-test-refine with the requesting party.

Reports are also generated by a Microsoft Access tool

IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITH IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience developing Cognos reports on Report Studio 8.4 or higher version.
- Experience developing Cognos Framework Package models, version 8.4 or higher.
- Experience with DataStage, developing, modifying and de-bugging Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) jobs.
- Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts and de-bugging, preferably DB2 focused.
- Experience programming, preferably Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) on Microsoft Access.
