SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced SQL/Reporting Services Developer for a contract position. Looking for someone to work with the development team in the design, creation, revision, and management of reports generated to support the data warehouse project for the North Dakota Job Services department. This project supports the use of labor data in the state. Education data experience is not required but preferred. No Travel Required. The candidate should have experience analysing and collaborating on business requirements as well providing overall report design. Our client is a proven leader in data management solutions and software research and development.

Responsibilities:

- Delivery of reports according to agreed schedule and scope, troubleshooting and problem solving for SQL report development, and tracking status and communicating progress effectively to management. Specific activities include developing reports using Microsoft SSRS, developing and debugging SQL Server Stored Procedures, and translating business requirements into reporting designs.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Candidates should possess a BS degree in Computer Science or Information System preferred, or equivalent business experience
- 3 - 5 years of development experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Advanced skills in Excel, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong project/program planning skills are also a must.
- Additional desired skills include Microsoft SharePoint/SSRS report integration, Microsoft SSAS, and Data Warehouse experience.
- Microsoft BI Certification is a plus!
