REMEDY ADMINISTRATOR

We are in need of a Remedy System Administrator. The scope of this position is to the support on-going technical needs for our Remedy ITSM system in conjunction with US and India counterparts. This includes technical design and implementation of customizations of AR.

System objects, CMDB process design, development and maturation; Usage guidance and implementation of interfaces between Remedy and other internal and external systems. Support and consultation related to optimal use of the ITSM Suite features and functions; support, consultation and training to in the best use of 7.6.04; support and consultation related to work-flow and cross-organizational cooperation and adoption of new processes and procedures; and unsolicited advice to further the objectives of the tasks at hand. Provide troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of system issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5 or more years of relevant experience as a Remedy developer and technical resource
- SRD development including advanced SRD interfaces
- ITSM Remedy 7.6.04 analytics and dashboard reporting
- Experience in multi-tenancy environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
- Familiarity with ITSM Remedy 7.6.04 product suite including:
- BMC Remedy Action Request System (ARS)
- BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite (ITSM):
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Asset Management
- Service Level Management
- BMC Atrium CMDB
- BMC Remedy ITSM and/or BMC Atrium CMDB integration with 3rd party software via SQL & Web Services
- Customizing BMC Remedy Workflows, Forms, Reports, Filters to meet specified requirements
- Configuring Support Groups, Users, CIs, Foundation data
- Application of BMC Server product Patches, Hotfixes, Product Upgrades
- Customer Requirements Analysis and Solution Determination
- Working within a formal development environment, including the promotion of customizations from the development environment to the testing environment and then to the production environment
- Managed Services

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience with BMC Remedy 7.6.x in a Windows multi-Server environment with Oracle 11g/RAC database and IIS/Apache Tomcat Mid-Tier configuration.
- Certified Remedy Administrator for 7.6.04
- BMC Certified Administrator ITSM 7.6.x
- BMC Certified Professional and or Expert specific to 7.6.x.
- Advanced web service experience
- Visual Studio/dot net development experience
- SharePoint use and development/integration experience
