COMPANY OVERVIEW:
MCA (MERCHANDISING CONSULTANTS ASSOCIATES) is one of Canada's leading 3rd party Sales and Merchandising companies based out of Toronto spanning across the country. We provide retail service and solutions to many of Canada's leading Consumer Packaged Goods companies such as PROCTER AND GAMBLE, HALLMARK CANADA, L'OREAL CANADA, JOHNSON and JOHNSON and BIC as well as LEADING RETAILERS WALMART CANADA, CANADIAN TIRE, METRO, SOBEYS AND LONGOS.
MCA REQUIRES SPRING RESET/RELINE MERCHANDISERS IN THE THUNDER BAY AREA
THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE ON A CONTRACT BASIS FROM JANUARY 2015 TO APRIL 2015 (10-40 HRS PER WEEK - depending on location)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
RELINE/SALES MERCHANDISER:
- provide store set-ups and planogram maintenance, implement both new, and changes to, planograms
- complete your scheduled calls in a timely and efficient fashion
- maximize point of purchase (POP) advantage
- on occasion, sell in merchandising units
- read and implement planograms
- set-up and take down seasonal displays
- maintain proper inventory levels in all chain accounts in your territory
- assemble fixtures/displays as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- computer literate
- merchandising or retail experience is an asset
- planogram experience (we will train)
- home based computer with Internet access and digital camera
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- driver's license and access to an insured motor vehicle with ability to travel within area given
- flexibility as the workload could increase during certain seasons
- excellent planning and time management
- attention to detail
