Reliability Engineer

I am currently seeking a Reliability Engineer on a 6 month contract initially (extendable or with a view to go permanent if you prefer) to work with my client in the Leicester area.

Some key information regarding the position is as follows:

Reliability engineering to include:- Understanding of product life cycles including development, design, verification, validation, production, service, etc.
Development of engineering solutions to correct and prevent failures.
Design and management of a programme of accelerated life testing.
Deployment and management of quality and analysis techniques including reliability modelling and prediction, fault tree analysis and root cause analysis.
Development and management of design and manufacturing processes to identify and eradicate early life system failures and drive complete life cycle reliability improvements.

Design and Process FMEA and FMECAs to include:- Ensure on-going continuity of FMEAs throughout product/process life cycles.
Manage the continuity of FMEAs to support new and current design implementation, customer issues, failure investigations and change control.

The Project

My client has stated that this project is working on marine products (Mechanical based). However, although experience in this area is desirable it is not essential.
