Reliabiity Engineer - Cross-Domain Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a RELIABILITY ENGINEER to join our client in Denver, Colorado.

JOB OVERVIEW:
- This position is a Technical writer Cross Domain Engineer III - Reliability Engineer 3

Job Responsibilities:
- Self-manage assigned projects so that demands for expertise are addressed appropriately
- Planning: Consideration for future technical and resource requirements
- Meet delivery dates for small, medium, and large scale development projects.

Job Qualifications:
- Understanding of software engineering practice
- Experience in Agile software development process
- Demonstrated success in intrinsic system reliability, modelling, testing and certification
- Deep knowledge of operating system resiliency/failover, redundant disk components, uninterruptible power supply, network redundancy, software disk mirroring and network load balancing.
- Extensive understanding of Disaster Recovery architectures and solutions
- Knowledgeable of Service Provider/MSO networking technologies
- Understanding of distributed cloud and storage architectures (eg VMWare, OpenStack)
- Extensive architectural and solution delivery experience, with an emphasis on media enabled services.
- Demonstrated ability to work end-to-end at various levels of abstraction, solution definition, solution certification, and operational deployment.
- Reliability Engineering - prefer Four years of experience
- Capacity/Data Traffic Modeling - Prefer a minimum of three year experience with MSO, Service Provider or equivalent.
- Content, Applications, and Media - Prefer a minimum of three years of experience with MSO, Telco, Service Provider, or equivalent
- Media Distribution - Prefer one years of experience with Telco, MSO, Content Service Provider, Internet Service Provider, or equivalent
- Education: Bachelor of Science Degree or Equivalent
