Release Manager - ITIL - Contract - 3 months - Commercial environments

My client are currently recruiting or a contract Release Manager with strong ITIL experience for an initial 3 month contract. You will manage the release of software and infrastructure, supporting the development phases and hand over to production environments. You will work closely with application development and infrastructure teams to ensure robust and repeatable procedures are in place for delivering release services to a range of solutions.

The ideal candidate will have

Extensive experience in release and deployment management in commercial environments

ITIL Certification (Foundation Minimum)
-

Solid understanding of IT Service Transition including operation change management
-

Understanding of waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
-

Track record of championing and achieving quality process improvements.

Comfortable with working in a fast paced, customer organisation, in the process of a major new development

Extensive experience within IT infrastructure and development environments
-

Configuration Management
-

Environment Management
-

Change Management experience preferred

Working with teams on multiple sites
