Release Manager

RELEASE MANAGER (JAVA TEAM)

Responsible for:

- Deployments of an application (in two separate release cycles) to a number of environments (6 in total including production)
- Deployment automation.
- Continuous Integration environments, Scripting, Maven & Jenkins
- Database release cycles
- Set-up & management of stress & operation testing
- Liasing with Test teams, Development teams, infrastructure areas.
- Creation of release notes to include new features, bug fixes, configuration and schema changes and test results
- Design/implementation of tools to simplify/automate deploys and release note generation
- Source Code Management experience (branching, merging & baseline management). (ClearCase is our SCM tool)

Interest in:

- Code base management
- Code coverage tooling
- Unit test completion

Working with:

- Team of 26 developers and testers, including a conversion stream.
- Agile development environment
- Assist in resolving integration/environment specific issues
