One of my leading clients is looking for a RELEASE AUTOMATION ENGINEER to join their team for a contract duration of 6-12 months, with the ideal start date of 23/05/2016. The RELEASE AUTOMATION ENGINEER will be responsible for automating the current systems to better enable agile development across IT.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Application Management of development tooling such as JIRA, Artifactor, Maven, Subversion and SONAR
- Maintain test environments
- Coordinate software deployment
- Participate in pilots and development of automated deployment

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

- Experience with Middleware including WebSphere and Tomcat, MQ, databases (preferably Sybase
- Experience installing and administering applications in Linux environments including debugging and command line
- Strong experience with Java development.
- Proven experience in establishing automated deployment;
- Hands-on mentality;
- Communicative and collaborative;
- Wide experience with high critical environments, preferably gained within financial institutions;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development method;
- Team player who is able to communicate well with all parties involved;
- Experience in Banking Sector and transaction processing is preferred;
- Basic knowledge of Sybase, JAVA, J2EE is preferred;
- Experience with automated testing (Selenium), CA Nolio and Apache Tomcat is preferred.
