REGULAORY RISK & CONTROL ANALYST

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Regulatory Risk & Control Analyst. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

. Supporting the execution of risk and control initiatives and processes, including operational risk, legal and regulatory programmes

. Measuring the effectiveness of operational control across COO products and services by providing data and analysis

. Identifying potential areas of non - compliance/risk & assessing impact & presenting proposals for risk mitigation measures

. Monitoring and assessing the quality of project execution and outcomes

. Performing accurate reporting from range of source tools and systems on a regular and ad-hoc basis

. Supporting the execution of risk and control programmes in line with the defined approach

. Performing and tracking completion of quality assurance assessments in preparation for upcoming audits and execution of legal/regulatory or business programmes

. Verifying factual correctness of issues and assessing individual management action plans for quality, prior to submission

. Performing independently reviews to identify, highlight and document risk issues. Follow-up on action items through to closure of issues, eg OR self-assessment, independent project risk review

. Supporting the project teams on the execution of risk programmes and processes

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

. Fluent in English (written/verbal) with good communication skills

. General financial markets experience

. Ability to analyse and evaluate problems quickly, root cause and inform the development of a solution
