Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Equity Derivatives - Tier 1 Bank

REGULATORY REPORTING ANALYST - EQUITY DERIVATIVES - TIER 1 INVESTMENT BANK

My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join on a contract basis. The candidate will have experience in regulatory reporting and come from a Middle Office background.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support trade and transaction reporting for Equity Derivatives to ensure completeness, accuracy and timely reporting.
- Participate in industry forums on Trade and transaction reporting and communicating with internal stakeholders including business COO's and other infrastructure teams to design and implement solutions around upcoming regulatory reporting requirements.
- Interface with Technology and the Business to ensure trading practices remain compliant with existing and future regulatory reporting requirements.
- Deliver and enhance required controls around new regulation to ensure complete adherence and controls/escalation mechanisms around new regulatory requirements - This would involve understanding the current control framework thoroughly and implementing new robust controls that complement the current suite.
- Work with stakeholders internally to remediate reporting exceptions, and implement a robust metrics framework to enable root cause analysis and prioritisation of fixes
- Partner with the business & Change to ensure end to end training for all impacted groups globally
- Delivering BAU support on existing regulatory controls and initiatives including Dodd Frank reporting, EMIR reporting, FCA Transaction Reporting etc

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree in Finance/Engineering or relevant major
- Strong knowledge of Investment Banking Operations and broad understanding of Capital markets
- End to end processing experience in the Equity Derivatives product suite, specifically with OTC experience
