REGULATORY PROJECT MANAGER (PRIIPS)

On behalf of our client, one of the largest financial institutions in Zürich, we are looking for a REGULATORY PROJECT MANAGER TO WORK ON DIFFERENT REGULATORY INITIATIVES WITHIN THE INSURANCE AREA OF THE BANK. For this 6 MONTH CONTRACTING POSITION (with possibility to extend) based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate, who is available as ASAP.
YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM:
The team is responsible for the launch of new products and maintenance of the existing product offering and the alignment of the existing offerings and processes to all regulatory initiatives, like PRIIPS, IDD, EMIR/Finfrag and GDPR.
For that purpose the team is closely collaborating with the Regulatory Team of the Bank and different other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all these initiatives.
The contractor should take over the lead for all regulatory initiatives within the Product Management team (mainly PRIIPS, IDD, EMIR/Finfrag and GDPR) and support the analysis, implementation and documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a detailed analysis of the impact, incl. legal sign-offs where required (internal and external)
- Prepare an implementation concept and plan based on the analysis and coordinate it
- Being responsible, together with the colleagues in the team, to ensure the implementation
- Provide documentation about the analysis and implemented solution
WHO I AM LOOKING FOR:
- 7+ years of experience as Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager in financial services industry
- Proven record of hands on project management skills especially stakeholder management
- Strong knowledge about the regulatory initiatives such as PRIIPS, IDD, EMIR/Finfrag and GDPR
- Insurance knowledge would be an advantage
- Familiar with operational processes and end-to-end approach
- Fluent in English, German is highly desirable
