Background:

The provision of age-appropriate medicines and dosage forms for children is a key area of activity and scrutiny for regulatory authorities. In order to keep abreast of current and proposed regulation in the area of children's medicines, we are seeking a forward thinking regulatory affairs professional to lead and provide input to teams in this key area.

Experience Required:

The successful applicant will have:
* Experience of regulatory environment for paediatric medicines
* Proven ability to manage complex regulatory issues
* Proven examples of successful input to cross-functional teams, including leadership of regulatory sub-teams and delivery of regulatory strategy

Key responsibilities are as follows:
* To be recognised as the paediatric regulatory expert within the organization
* To be accountable for regulatory input to all paediatric projects and to lead these regulatory submissions.
* To foster awareness of paediatric responsibilities and initiatives in key stakeholders including colleagues in Global marketing, Global and European medical, European and Country regulatory and regional groups.
* To monitor legislation and guidelines (EU / US / ANZ/ MENA/ LATAM/Asia) and provide a quarterly brief to senior regulatory managers and others as identified.
* To actively participate in industry forums (e.g PAGB, AESGP) including lobbying and influencing on key issues.
* To attend external meetings and conferences on regulation of paediatric medicine and related areas.
