Registered Nurse Quality Improvement II Job

REGISTERED NURSE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IIneeded for a FULL TIME/CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Scotts Valley, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Current, valid California Registered Nurse license
- Two (2) years of experience in Quality Improvement in a Medical Group
- Three (3) years of acute care or clinic experience preferably in Obstetrics, Pediatrics or Diabetes Care

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Ensuring patient safety through Facility Site Review (FSR) and Medical Record Review (MRR) and Physical Accessibility (PAR) audits
- Documenting all potential safety or quality issues at the time of audit
- Evaluates patient safety and quality issues by promoting an environment
- Trains and mentors Quality Improvement Nurses

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Registered Nurse Licensure in State of CA (Active and in Good Standing)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred from Accredited Nursing School
- Facility Site Review Master Trainer Certification preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in Quality Improvement in a Medical Group
- Working knowledge of NCQA HEDIS abstracting guidelines
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding principle
- Ability to mentor and train others
- Intermediate level use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
