Registered Nurse-Occupational Heatlh Job

TWO (2) REGISTERED NURSE - OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Corning, NY

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Registered Nurse
- Occupational Health

HOURS: SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 3 PM-11 OR MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 6 AM-3PM.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Triage injuries and illnesses
- Trends injury performance and statistics
- In conjunction with the Safety Manager, develops and manages medical surveillance programs including training
- Maintains effective union and management partnership in medical treatment and return to work
- Collaborates with other business managers to develop proactive solutions and reduce safety and health incidents
- Performs Occupational Drug Testing - Post Accident/Random

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- ABOHN Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) preferred
- First Aid, AED, CPR Certification
- Occupational health experience - preferably in a union manufacturing environment
- Skilled in the use of variety of PC software, including Microsoft products
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours for the performance of regular duties and to respond to associate health needs
- Health/Wellness Program implementation a plus
