Registered Nurse - Occupational Health Job

REGISTERED NURSE needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Rancho Cordova, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience in Occupational Health
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform medical evaluations and treat work-related injuries
- Evaluate occupational injuries and illness and coordinate medical care
- Perform medical surveillance and drug screens, including audiometry and spirometry testing
- Counsel and educate employees
- Organize and maintain medical records
- May participate in related health and safety programs such as hearing protection, safety glasses and bloodmobile programs
- Provide appropriate Worker's Compensation information to ensure proper disposition of claims

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current California RN license
- Current BLS
- Two - four (2 - 4) years experience in occupational health or workers compensation preferred
- Knowledge of workers compensation regulations and applicable labor laws, applicable regulations, guidelines and policy relating to Occupational Health
- Certifications in Occupational Health, Audiology, DOT urine drug collection and spirometry preferred
