Registered Nurse - Occupational Health Job

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - OCCUPATIONAL EMPLOYEE/COMPANY NURSE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client located in Long Beach, CA.

The Big Picture:
- The Occupational Nurse
- Hours 7:30AM-4PM Full time as needed as well as PRN

What You Will Be Doing:
- Ensures adherence to health management protocols, medical directives, policies and procedures and physicians standing orders while following guidelines indicated by Adheres to HIPAA and partner confidentiality to ensure compliance of confidentiality of employee's personal information.
- Provides observations, care and counsel for employees with illness or injuries including assessment, first aid, follow-up care, rehabilitation service, and case management.
- Also provides first aid, minor treatment, counseling, referral and medical liaison for non-occupational health concerns.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must be a CA RN with at least five (5) years of hands on experience with license without any restrictions.
- Experience doing DOT Physicals
- Must have good first aid skills and assessment skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Computer proficient. Ability to triage patient complaints.
- Knowledge of state Workers' Compensation law.
- CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: Current RN license in state of employment. Must obtain certification in urine drug screen and breathe alcohol collections. Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification required.
