REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGER/PMO - TIER 1 INVESTMENT BANK - ZURICH ASAP
A REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGER/PMO is required by my client, a Tier 1 Investment bank located in Zurich. An excellent opportunity for an individual with core project management skills, infrastructure awareness and top communication skills, to work for the regional implementation of a Process Excellence project.
Scope:
Own the plan and benefits for all regional Operations& Services organisations, providing the key interface back to the regional IT teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, Maintain, Own the region's Project Plan for (Hybrid) Process Excellence (PEX)/Transition to Hubs/CI/OCM:
* Gather process steps and pre-work activity from process owners to integrate to local plan
* Ensure local work/CTB/other LOB dependencies are planned around
2. Own the Benefit Plan - GPIN by GPIN
* Must track current plans for people, replacements, hires, attrition etc
* Must forecast future profile that aligns to business case
3. Own the Region Weekly Status Report
* Resolve top issues/risks etc.
* Escalate issues/risks to Regional Manager/Program Manager as required
4. Be the PEX Wave Regional Coordinator/Ambassador with a focus on:
* An advocate for the process within the region. Coordinate local Organization Change Management (OCM) activities to explain what/why/how
* Help support the PEX Continuous Improvement function in Switzerland
* Ensuring Process/Tasks/SOPs are documented and fit well into the global blueprint. Efficiencies are consistent for the region and implementable
* New operational procedures are aligned to the planned Operating Model
5. Maintain the Operating Level KPIs that will measure performance before, during, after PEX.
* Measure/monitor/report monthly to program Sponsors
6. O&S Transformation Regional Interface
* Act as issue focal point and run regular reviews with each of the in-region Program Sponsors
* Act as focal point for local PMO activities
* Manage the Benefits Realization process for the Program
* Provide PMO support to the wider Industrialization Program in Switzerland
Key Artefacts to manage:
* Project Plan
* Regional Business Case
* Status Reports
Skills:
* Core Project Management skills
* Project Financial management and tracking experience (gap analysis)
* Strong Communication skills able to interact with Senior Management and Stakeholders
* Infrastructure awareness.
Team Interaction:
* Matrix lead to Process Stream staff and to in Region SMEs
* Part time use of Program Office Regional Project Coordinator
