Regional Business Manager - South East

A business area within a large global group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America. A vacancy has arisen for a Business Manager - based from home covering the South East * To set sales targets for Area Manager and to ensure that budget targets are achieved * To ensure maximum effectiveness of Area Managers. * To monitor and report the competitor activity throughout the product range for the area. * To develop sales with National Account customers. * To be able to manage and motivate sales team and dealers * To forecast sales activity for area month by month. * To be knowledgeable about the industries we operate in and the equipment we sell. * To keep confidential all company information. * To set Personal Business Plans with each direct report and monitor. * To ensure that all documentation and paperwork is completed on time and correctly * To report in detail on a regular basis sales activity and market trends for the area. * Ability to commercially negotiate sales with dealers and end users. * To be comfortable with sales related financial information. * Ability to present information in a precise manner. * To create informative reports. * Building and maintaining Dealer's and Customer's Relationships. * Intermediate IT skills including PowerPoint, word and excel. * Management of Customer Relationship Management input and reports in relation to the territory. * Skills * · Negotiation skills. * · Selling skills. * · A good working knowledge and understanding of the various industry segments * · Understanding the Customer's Business Needs.
