POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for post sale activity and all related pricing processes for customers. The Regional Account Manager will be assigned a number of markets and provide pricing services to all sales segments. Pricing processes include new customer setup, transactional and hedge account setup, price quotes and executions, fees, margin and ancillary charges. The Regional Account Manager will provide research and analysis as the market expert upon entry or expansion of markets through organic or acquisition growth. The Regional Account Manager will works towards issue resolution related to all pricing and billing inquires on behalf of the Sales Rep. The Regional Account Manager interfaces with other functional areas including Sales, Credit, Contracts, Operations, Legal, Supply and Accounting to ensure processes are completed properly and timely to meet the needs of the customers and sales team. The Regional Account Manager participates in IT technology solutions and testing related to expanding markets.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Will perform reporting, get pricing together, assist customers with issues, and support the sales people by providing them with the information they need.
- Support owned accounts and prospect pricing activity.
- Liaises between sales and other functional departments to ensure proper communication throughout pricing and post sale support processes.
- Owns setup and accuracy of transactional and hedge accounts.
- Owns setup and accuracy related to pricing customer's first of month and incremental volumetric requirements.
- Provide quoting and execution pricing processes for all sales segments, including addition of fees, adders and ancillary costs for assigned markets.
- Approve all term price confirmations prior to being sent to customers (same day as price execution).
- Confirm enrollment has been completed for new customers
- Provide issue resolution or coordinate issue resolution with other functional groups for customer issues.
- Serve as secondary point of contact for customer for all account management services.
- Create and maintain customer reporting, as applicable
- Assist in sales and employee training as required.
- Assist in the development of process efficiencies as required for assigned markets.
- Assist in data cleanup projects as assigned.
- Assist in development of technology solutions and regression testing for systems impacting assigned markets and products.

POSITION SCOPE:

- Support data integrity cleanup initiatives
- No selling responsibilities - just support.

SKILLS:

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in business related field of study or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of business experience, preferably in marketing or communications; Proven knowledge of business principles and practices
- Minimum of either a Bachelors degree or an Associates Degree and 5 years' experience in preparing project estimates in the electric and gas utility industry using software and or estimating manuals to expedite estimating preparation process.
- In depth knowledge of the energy industry
- Proven knowledge of sales, operations and related business practices
- Ability to successfully complete business process and system changes within team environment.
- Ability to lead and support critical business project related work.
- Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the Internet.
- Excel Proficiency is required - ability to write Macros preferred.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills to function in a team environment and to maintain rapport with employees and customers.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
- Flexibility on the job and the ability to work under multiple, daily deadlines for self and others that may or may not report to this role;
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and e-mails.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, colleagues and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several different tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information at all times.
- Travel as required by customers' and businesses' needs.
- All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.

PREFERRED:

- Preferred - MBA or advanced degree in related business field.
- A minimum of 7 years of retail energy experience.
