Redprairie Contractor

Our client is in search of a RedPrairie contractor--W2 for a 6 month contract, which will most likely be extended for 3-6 months.

The primary job responsibility is to work in a team environment in designing, developing and implementing the RedPrairie warehouse management system.

The person filling this role will be responsible for troubleshooting issues with the system as well as extending functionality using MOCA, reports, DDA, and integrator transactions.

The ability to manage small projects with little to no supervision is desirable. The ideal candidate has experience with development and support of a RedPrairie WMS in a complex 3PL environment. Additionally, they must be able to manage their time and priorities effectively and work well with both technical and non-technical staff.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of RedPrairie.
Design and development including Integrator, MOCA, and SQL experience.
Provide technical leadership on the team to assist with support and capital project work.
Mentor and educate junior members of the staff to level skill set.

Form working relationships with external vendors, and team members.
Document and communicate problem resolutions.

Keep up-to-date on current issues across the RedPrairie environment.
Develop proactive efforts to improve overall environment stability and ease of support.

Work with cross-functional support groups to resolve RedPrairie-related issues and specify enhancements.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to lead through troubleshooting complex support issues.
Ability to perform in a liaison role with technical partners.

Proven expertise with Unix or Linux.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Knowledge of Supply Chain, plant and/or warehouse operations desired.
