Redhat Linux Engineer - SC Cleared

Redhat Linux Guru required. Ideally you will have experience within Secure Environments and will be used to locking down the OS within this domain. This is a client facing role, where good communications skills are a requirement.

The position is very urgent and the client is ideally looking for someone who is available to telephone interview this week and start on Monday 5th August or at the latest Monday 12th August.

This role is working on a programme with NATO called NCIRC (National Computer Incident Response Capability). Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold a valid SC Clearance.

It goes without saying that you will be familiar with Kickstart, Puppet, Bash Scripting and Security-Enhanced Linux
(SELinux), as well as integrating Linux with Windows systems.

Ideally you'll have experience of C++, and experience with Oracle or MySQL administration would also be beneficial.

Any experience with Arcsight SIEM and/or SharePoint would be.highly* desirable although not essential.

The role may involve working with the following so experience in any of these areas would be beneficial:

* C++ - Essential
* Linux - RHEL 5/6 - Essential
* C# & Visual Studio (ideally 2012)
* REST
* SQL (specifically SQL Server 2008)
* XML
* SharePoint development and administration (ideally 2013)
* HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Subversion or similar source version control
* Bash Scripting
* Kickstart
* XML
* Any experience of SSL Concentrators (F5) or XML Gateways (Vordel) would be very useful.
* Some ArcSight experience would be a bonus.
* Some RPM building experience would also be a bonus
