This role is part of the UK Recruitment Delivery Services Team based in Alderley Park and is part of the larger People Practises and Services HR organisation The role holder will be able to work with volume and pace, understanding the bigger picture and yet still deliver excellent attention to detail. Over the next few months we anticipate the exciting challenge of recruiting some very specialised and hard to fill roles in order to meet the targets for the UK Footprint Challenge.

Job Description

To attract, source and present outstanding talent across all SET areas to present to hiring managers enabling the business to effectively select and hire the right candidates at the right time.

Accountabilities

- Deploy a broad and deep range of hiring activity to enable AstraZeneca to source, attract and recruit outstanding talent at the right time and in the right markets.
- Develop strong and effective working relationships with our preferred suppliers where appropriate and take ownership for directly sourcing talent based on market research or referred candidates if possible.
- Based against SET Area demand and from the predicted SWP trends for our key markets, build a pipeline of anticipated talent ensuring that high potential candidates remain engaged with the business.
- Understand how recruitment happens in different geographic markets within the Region and how this translates into effective candidate sourcing, candidate attraction and candidate management.
- Utilise the information and guidelines provided in the recruitment marketing and employer branding framework and toolkit to tailor and execute marketing activity within the region.
- Explore new and innovate recruitment channels based on market insight aligned to customer need.
- Advise hiring managers on the most appropriate sourcing strategy to attract outstanding talent into the business and make recommendations on how to effectively manage the interview and selection processes.
- Project management, including managing external partners and ownership of individual pieces of recruitment and recruitment campaigns as well as managing the candidate relationship, giving feedback when necessary and acting as a point of contact within thebusiness for candidates in a recruitment process.
- Utilise relevant media and technology channels to drive the best possible recruitment solution.
- Ensure that we maximize the best available market referral knowledge from our newly hires who join AZ.
- Ensure that all new hires have been entrusted to HR to affect a seamlesson boarding and orientation into AZ.
- Take a flexible approach to the role responding to the needs of the business by deploring different skills and activities at different times.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Skills and Capabilities:

- A strong track record of recruitment delivery as a recruitment practitioner either from an internal recruitment function.
- Excellent judgement skills on when to utilise a recruitment supplier, when to directly source a candidate and when to utilise candidate referrals to provide the best hiring outcome.
- Recruitment marketing and employer branding skills
- Significant experience of working within a complex, global, blue chip organisation
