RECRUTING COORDINATOR

Description:

Work on a one-on-one basis with candidates and new hires, managing and tracking files, ensuring all information is documented and accurate.

Assist recruiters by managing and processing the new hire paperwork, including generating offer letters, new employee health screens, I-9 paperwork and background screening.

Work with the internal benefits and payroll system, processing paperwork and troubleshooting problems.

Maintain working relationships with hiring managers and administrative staff in Program Offices functional areas.

Maintain applicant and requisition information in the applicant tracking system RSS Taleo database.

Process data from the RSS database, including the New Hire Data Sheet to the Gateway system. Responsible for this data processing to ensure the candidate is successfully in the Payroll system (HRIS system).

Assist recruiters in the recruiting process, ie reference checks and interview scheduling.

Perform various administrative tasks, ie schedule travel, conference calls, minute taking, maintain file system, and maintain Excel spreadsheets.

Function as a resource person for requisition and policy information.

Coordinates meeting logistics support, correspondence and telephone management, calendar and travel scheduling/maintenance, and information research, handling and presentation.

Supports the full cycle of recruitment activities.

Process employment applications and other required forms from candidates and new hires, including I-9's.

Tracks data and prepares more complex analyses or reports.

Responds to questions from candidates and new hires. Responds to questions from internal clients and is generally a point of contact for a candidate throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a corporate office setting with at least 3 years in HR/Recruitment/Staffing.

Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access,).

Uses a variety of software to compose both routine and sensitive communications and reports (including graphics presentations and desktop publishing).

Ideal candidate should be able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction; be detail oriented; able to multi-task; be process driven; possess creative problem solving/critical thinking skills; attention to accuracy; able to track missing information; a "fact finder" as well as "fact checker"; quick to comprehend new processes; be flexible to alter processes as needs change; excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
