RECRUITER

CONTRACT: 3 months (W2)

LOCATION: Oakland, CA 94612

PAY RATE: $36/hr

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

SIZE OF TEAM: Project team of 2 within the larger recruitment team of 100+ employees

TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contacting impacted employees for viable positions
- Reviewing resumes for transferable skills and reviewing job descriptions of posted vacancies that may be a viable opportunity for an impacted employee
- Running reports and updating tracking report
- Working with Recruitment staff on status of open requisitions
- Researching recruitment-related issues raised by impacted employees and recommend resolutions
- Provide training on how to search for jobs

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- High School diploma/GED and 4 years' experience in a directly related field
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 4 years' experience in a directly related field
- Working knowledge of recruitment's full life cycle
- Proficiency with Taleo
- Project management
- Proficiency with Excel
- Able to work in a fast-paced and high volume setting
- Consulting with multiple levels and influencing perception
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Deductive reasoning
- Flexibility

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Experience working with represented employees and collective bargaining agreements
- Career counseling
