My client a leading Energy provider in the UK currently has an urgent requirement for an experienced Recruiter to join them on an initial contract basis. The Recruiter is responsible for the delivery of key vacancies by finding and assessing talented candidates for allocated permanent vacancies in their client group. The ideal candidate will ideally come with a background of recruiting either in-house/agency (RPO/Accounts/Managed Services) based roles. This person should be able to demonstrate a strong social media sourcing network and proven record in sourcing candidates via tools such as LinkedIn.

Principle accountabilities for the role:

- Help the Resourcing team work towards being a true Centre of Excellence by developing strong communication links with candidates, managers, HR Business Partners and employees
- Day to day stakeholder management with clients in the business units. Ensure that any issues with service delivery are recognised and resolved in a timely manner and ensure positive and necessary process changes are being implemented across the Recruitment Delivery Team
- Leading briefing meetings with Line Managers or HR Business Partner if appropriate to ensure the job and vacancy requirements are clearly understood including competencies to be assessed, assessment tools, determining the recruitment channels based on recruitment metric information, quality and cost and agree recruitment timelines to ensure timely delivery of recruitment campaigns. To be documented in the campaign plan
- Responsible for the key elements of the recruitment process including reviewing applications & CVs and assessing the suitability of candidates against pre defined criteria and job specification.
- Undertake professional, telephone screening/interviews with candidates against a pre defined set of competencies. Ensure the processes are documented and interview scorecards are completed and the Candidate Management System is updated as appropriate.
- Work closely with the assigned Recruitment Coordinator and Recruitment Administration Team Leader to ensure all administrative parts of the recruitment process including long list, arranging interviews, testing, job offers, etc are delivered within agreed SLA's and to enable resource planning for future projects
- Increase the quality of hires by developing a Talent Pool of qualified candidates for vacancies in advance by building networks to find qualified passive candidates. Ensure that regular contact is maintained with potential candidates
- Deliver a positive experience to all candidates by managing them in a professional manner throughout the recruitment process (ensuring they are prepared for the interview) so that career opportunities and the benefits of working for the company are clearly communicated to ensure that the selected candidate accepts the offer.
