This position is responsible for the reconciliation of client receivables in accordance with contractual agreements. Includes review of patient earnings and pass through invoices, study finance trackers, patient trackers and contracts, as well as interaction with various departments in order to determine the validity of charges to sponsors as well as payments received from sponsors. Additionally, this position provides assistance to the Finance and Budget & Contracts departments on specifically identified projects and tasks listed below.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Reconcile in detail accounts as needed with regards to all lines of business to ensure accuracy of detailed payment information received from Pharmaceutical companies.
- Reconcile SCRI financial study data with data provided by Pharmaceutical companies as needed.
- Review and interpret contracts and budgets to assist the Collections Analysts in resolving payment issues.
- Work with accounting staff to resolve billing questions as needed.
- Respond to requests for information from Corporate, Internal Audit and other internal management as requested by supervisor.
- Review patient earnings and other study related invoices versus contracts to determine eligibility for reimbursement of costs.
- Knowledge of research techniques to analyze and evaluate financial data and information.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks/Excel preferred
SKILLS: The proficiency to perform a certain task
- Proficiency with PC-based spreadsheet and word processing programs
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
