*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FIXED 3 MONTH CONTRACT WORKING IN SOUTH AFRICA - EXPENSES AND TRAVEL PAID. IT MIGHT BE POSSIBLE TO DO THIS ON A 4 WEEKS ON/1 WEEK OFF BASIS*
My client, a merchant bank, is looking to hire a senior Consultant in RDR/Retail Distribution Review, to carry out 2 initiatives;
- Carry out a General review of their Risk and Controls across 1st and 2nd lines of defence (which they perceive have a lot of parallels to the UK banking sector)
- What advisory work and changes will need to be made in line with gaps - specifically in relation to RDR
Initially this will be a high level Target Operating model review, followed by a more in depth changes to current processes.
Essentially the client is wanting to ensure they are compliant for the independent financial advisors, who provide financial advise to people, who they ultimately sell the retail products to. The client is looking to achieve this from a consultant/Project Manager who has worked in the Retail Distribution Review space previously in a similar programme - where you are experienced with implementation of RDR/the on boarding of it.
