Rail Operations Performance Improvement Consultant

Our client is a major transport group currently involved in the UK rail franchise bidding process. They currently require additional resource on the bid team in the capacity of Performance Improvement.

The position will initially involve a high degree of analysis, using published resources, site visits etc. to gain an understanding of the current situation and how this can be improved. The vision will identify known performance issues on the franchise and will form the backbone of putting together a Performance Improvement Plan or to form a business case for the Franchise, which you will create working in conjunction with the other bid workstreams and the Operations Lead internally. The plan should answer the specific questions posed in the ITT. This analysis must then be authored in to an attractive, innovative but deliverable plan for inclusion in the final bid document.

We are interested in hearing from candidates with a strong background in TOC Performance Management or TOC Signalling/Control, strong analysis & planning skills and strong written skills. Experience of rail franchise bidding/authoring is advantageous.
