Radio Network Optimization Engineer (RF/RNO) - Paris

We are looking for a Radio Network Optimization Engineer to work on a consultancy contract for an International Mobile Telecommunications provider based in Paris.

The organisation is a world-leading telecommunications solutions provider serving 35 of the world's top 50 telecom operators, their products and solutions are deployed in over 100 countries. Over 1 billion people globally are communicating using the organisations telecom products and solutions.

The Radio Network Optimization Engineer will work as a consultant on a team of 10 + Optimization Engineers dedicated to optimization activities for the organisations customer Bouygues Telecom.

Responsibilities of the role include.

- 2G site optimization post swap based on OSS counters
- 2G/3G cluster KPI follow up, troubleshooting for new feature validation
- Monitor the radio frequency using Huawei tools Nastar, Omstar, FMA
- Work with the customer to resolve issues and communicate progress
- Provide a daily and weekly report to the management team

We are looking for Radio Network Optimisation Engineer that has experience and skills in the following areas.

- Degree in telecommunications or engineering
- Good knowledge of a least 2 of the following technologies GSM/WCDMA/LTE
- Good 2G and 3G RAN/BSS knowledge
- Good knowledge of Huawei and other vendor OSS
- GIS tool knowledge such as MapInfo
- Understanding of at least one drive test tool and post-processing software, such as Nemo/Actix, XCAL/XCAP
- English and French language skills
