RADIO ENGINEER, HUAWEI HARDWARE, 2G, 3G, 4G, SITE BUILD, ATOLL AND ENGLISH SPEAKING
eCRM Euro are looking for a Senior Radio Engineer for a new project based in Belgium. You will perform the radio planning and design the 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 4G radio access networks. Plan new sites or other network extensions in a geographical part of the country. Find and approve candidates for new sites, participate in the technical review on site, make the initial antenna configuration design, approve technical drawings, consolidate all information's needed to order the health report to make sure that the design is compliant with the health norm in use in the region Order specific vendor radio equipment and define radio parameters with final antenna configuration. Validate the site in terms of coverage and quality when on air - optimization. Assure a perfect reflection of the access network configuration in the design databases Base Station Data Sheet and adapt power if recommended by the health report.
Knowledge of multiple radio access technologies 2G, 2,5G, 3G and LTE is needed
The need for creativity and problem solving skills: there is often not a single correct solution for a problem.
Not only technical knowledge is required: communication skills and team player attitude are required to find solutions that are accepted by the colleagues responsible for site acquisition and site construction.
Knowledge of 2G, 2,5, 3G and LTE
Knowledge of the site build process
Knowledge of office and database applications -advanced office software, databases and query processing.
Knowledge of an RF planning tool like Atoll is an advantage
Knowledge of Huawei hardware equipment and monitoring tool PRS is a real advantage.
