R Developer

We are currently searching for a R Developer to work in Amsterdam (Netherlands) for 6 months + extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.

The client requires an R developer in nature and skills but the applicants must be a real "go-to guy" in terms of their knowledge and experience as they are going to practically developing the entire environment. The role will be for 6 months initially and will be based in Amsterdam, NL.

Skills set and experience required (essential)
R development and design
Java knowledge (particularly around R integration (our environment is Java based)
R system and environment architecture
R software architecture
Desirable Experience
Solvency II implementation - standard formulae.
Development life cycle
Quantative analysis experience
Working in a very pressured environment
Design and architecture
Using R (from an end user perspective)
