R&D Engineer - Medical Devices

Leading Medical Devices company require an R&D Engineer to join them on a long-term contract to support and help drive process changes and production transfer from an R&D perspective.

In this position you will:
-Support and help driving process changes & production transfers from the R&D perspective and ensure all technical Documentation (DHF, Tech File) is updated and fulfills all regulatory requirements.
-Define and plan verification test setups and execute accordingly
-Coordinate projects and reporting, do gap analysis and ensure proper communication amongst a multidisciplinary team
-Collaborate with the technical engineering office to drive Design/Document Changes
-Support initiatives for improvements and modifications of existing implants and instrumentation. Information exchange and collaboration between internal, local, external and foreign partners is essential. Close cooperation with internal departments, domestic and international authorities as well as the conscientious preparation of the required documents ensures compliance with Medical Device Regulations (EU MDD, US FDA, JP PAL).

Your Profile.
For this position we are looking for a team player with strong initiative. You will have earned a higher degree in engineering and would preferably have some practical experience in a regulated industry. You are self-motivated and take responsibility in your projects. You are a creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills and strong leadership ability. You should have a keen interest in the interrelations between medicine and technology and a strong desire to work in a global company.

Ability to communicate in both spoken and written German and English is required.

Temporary Position until end of 2016 - with option for extension until end of 2017.
