Quantitative Developer - Trading Application knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University degree in Mathematics or Quantitative Finance; preferably training in financial products
- Several years of working experience in developing banking applications, desirably for trading
- Practical knowledge of object-oriented programming in C++, possibly in Visual C++
- Solid understanding of financial products and financial market data including FX options
- Competency of stochastic models in finance and their integration into trading applications
- Languages: fluent German and English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Engaging in the development of tools and applications to support the trading desks of the bank in C++ or Java
- Maintaining and improving existing software as well as providing third level support and user training
- Designing, implementing and testing according to new business requirements
- Collaborating with traders, business analysts and IT developers that are part of other teams
- Working in a flexible and goal-oriented manner in a highly dynamic environment
